Hello Everyone! My name is Ray and I’m one of the Co-Founder’s of A Nanny Network with my sister and business partner, Wendy. This site and business has been a labor of love for the both of us over the past year and a half. After a significant amount of market research (both online and in person) we have developed what we believe to be the safest, most family-oriented and resource-rich site out there! Here are the top reasons why:

  • Background Screening & Sex Offender Registry Checks
  • No Auto-Renewal Membership Fees
  • Nanny & Sitter Profiles Auto-Expire every 90 Days
  • Interview Profiles available FREE without a membership
  • Low Cost: $29.99 = 2 months unlimited access
  • Your In Control of your Childcare Options!

I have to admit, when my sister and I first set out in October 2006 to create A Nanny Network, it was difficult for me to really identify with our clients since I had no children of my own. Since then, a lot has changed in my life; purchased my first home in October 2006, married my long time girlfriend in Oct. 2007, and found out in January 2008 that my wife is pregnant with our first child! How exciting is that? I have to say, life is simply amazing :)

Neither my wife or I have ever been married or had children, so this experience is all new to us. The prospect of having a family and raising children is a daunting one for sure. Its super exciting and scary all at once! I say scary because it is something that neither of us has ever done before. Like most new, expecting parents we have the excitement of what’s to come as well as the stress of wanting to do everything right. What I tell my friends and family is that we are “trying to prepare for something you really can’t prepare for.” All the parents I tell this to crack a smile and say “you’ll do fine” and that “being a parent is instinctual.” I know things won’t be easy, but I also know we will be the best parents possible to our little boy (yes, its a boy!). His due date is September 27th, not much more time to go!

I look forward to sharing my experiences as an expecting father as well as a new parent once our little boy is born. We are very lucky to have lots of friends and family in the area to support us. Being an expecting dad has made me realize how important A Nanny Network’s service is to local families that need a safe and effective way to seek out quality childcare options. Whether it be a single mom or dad that works full time, the parents that just want to get out and have dinner and a movie every once in a while, or the military family that just relocated to the area, A Nanny Network is here for you!
