Small Fish, Big Ocean! The Online Nanny Game.

I feel like I am drowning in the web related world of Nannies and Babysitters. Holy cow there are hundreds of online Nanny and Babysitter websites nationally and none of them are what they should be; a reliable source where Nannies can successfully advertise their desire and experience to work with great families and a place where parents of many income levels can successfuly search and find active nanny and sitter candidates that are available in their town, experienced, and affordable.
Our mission in creating A Nanny Network has been and remains to be a service that nannies and families can make safe and successful connections. I have to say that this is not the easiest of tasks, especially because we are not national, we are regional and we do not have the budget to launch expensive advertising campaigns.
But, instead of creating a Nanny business solely online or solely with interview events, we are doing both! We are creating extremely affordable ways for parents to interview numerous candidates at once with our events but also walk away with a 2-6month membership for our online service. I think it’s brilliant, but for us to suceed, the regional public needs to know about us and that is the hardest part of all.
The only way to do this is to get out on foot and meet and talk with local child related business owners, mom’s groups, and the local news media. It’s a very big project but we are up for the challange and I am driven to make this suceed in an honest and respectful way!
Right now, we may be a small fish in a big ocean but a year from now I plan on being the biggest fish the The Puget Sound! Watch us!
